2. Deposit - A £100 non refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. Bookings made within 6 weeks of arrival date must be paid for in full at the time of booking. 3. Balance of Payment - The balance is payable 6 weeks prior to your arrival date. We will send out a polite reminder as a matter of course. If the balance is not received within 4 weeks of your planned arrival, then we reserve the right to cancel the booking. 4. The rental price is all inclusive and includes the hire of linen, towels, electricity, and dogs. 5. Payment - Payment will be accepted by cheque payable to "Deborah Thorne", or by bank transfer directly into our bank account or via Paypal. Details will be provided at the time of booking. 6. Cancellations - All cancellations must be advised to us as soon as possible by telephone or email, and confirmed in writing within 7 days. We recommend that you take out some form of holiday cancellation insurance to protect yourselves. We will do our utmost to re-let the property however, if you cancel within six weeks of the arrival date and we are unable to re-let, then no payments will be refunded. 7. Smoking - There is a strict "No Smoking" policy in the house. If you do smoke in the garden then please do not leave cigarette butts lying around. 8. Pets - Dogs are welcome by prior arrangement. There is no additional charge. Please do not leave a dog in the house on its own or let them onto the furniture. Please do not leave any of your dog's mess in the garden. Note: If you are bringing a dog, we would advise you obtain treatment for ticks prior to arrival. Frontline drops are effective and provide cover for up to 4 weeks. Your vet or pet shop will be able to provide this for you. 9. Liability - We accept no liability for any loss or damage to your possessions, nor any accident or injury which you may suffer, either in the cottage or the garden. 11. Non-availability of Property - If, for any reason beyond our control, the property is unavailable on your arrival date (e.g. due to fire damage, flooding, etc) or if the property becomes unsuitable for holiday letting, then we will refund in full all monies paid. We will advise you of any such event as soon as it happens to enable you to make alternative arrangements.
